Air Dice Group Receives License to Operate in Ontario

The Ontario Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) has granted Air Dice Group, a game creator, authorization to operate within the province. This is a significant development for the firm, as it enables them to access the North American market and expand their footprint.

Erkki Nikunen, a partner and the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at Air Dice, conveyed his enthusiasm, particularly following a successful ICE London event. He highlighted that venturing into regulated markets is a primary objective for Air Dice in 2023, and the Ontario license demonstrates their dedication to responsible gaming and elevated standards. This action is a vital component of their North American growth plan.

This is not Air Dice’s initial venture into regulated markets. They already obtained a license in Sweden from the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA) earlier this year.

Air Dice possesses a varied selection of games, including well-known titles like Wild Shifter, Gunslinger Legends: Bounty Hunter, Flaming Bombs, and Fire Lion. They are keen to present these games to operators in Ontario, signifying their official entrance into the Canadian and wider North American regulated gaming sphere.

The province of Ontario is making waves in the Canadian landscape! They are currently the sole province venturing into the regulation of internet-based wagering. Stay tuned for the upcoming edition of Gaming America magazine, where they’ll provide a comprehensive analysis.

On the topic of market penetration, Air Dice has been making significant strides! They’ve forged partnerships with industry giants such as MGA Games and BoyleSports to expand the reach of their games throughout Europe and the United Kingdom.

Furthermore, their ambitions extend to Latin America. In March, they appointed Rocio Moitino as their LatAm Sales Director to spearhead their efforts in the region. Things are definitely gaining momentum!
