Joe Weinberg, a managing partner at Cordish, expressed immense enthusiasm for the endeavor. He sees it as a transformative development for the region, a premier entertainment hub offering exceptional gaming, culinary, and entertainment experiences. He anticipates significant job creation and a substantial boost to the local economy.
Foundation Gaming & Entertainment, a collaborator on the project, is currently finalizing the demolition work that commenced in February. They are preparing the site for this major overhaul.
This ambitious undertaking carries a substantial cost exceeding $250 million. However, it promises to be an extraordinary development. Imagine an opulent hotel with more than 400 guest rooms, an expansive gaming area featuring over 1,000 slot machines and electronic table games, and a designated section for live-action table games.

Beyond substituting the current riverboat casino, Cordish Companies intends to build a completely new land-based casino.
